We provide a variety of services for you. All of our services are designed to ensure that you get the most information regarding the vessel you are purchasing or insuring. If you are unsure of some of the terminology or test results contained in the report just ask and Bill will be happy to explain them to you.

We perform marine Pre-purchase surveys  (for the buyer),
Vessel condition and valuation (C&V) surveys (for the owner, bank or insurance company) and
Damage / Loss surveys (for the insurance company) on recreational and small commercial vessels (less than 150 ft.) located in the central , north central, south central, eastern Kentucky , north central Tennessee , southern Ohio and Indiana.

Lakes covered are: - Cumberland, Dale Hollow, Green River, Barren, Rough River, Nolin, Laurel,  Herrington, Cave Run, Yatesville, Paintsville, Dewey , Buckhorn and Norris Lakes
Rivers covered are : Kentucky and Ohio

Our Recreational Vessel Rates :
Vessels less than 30 feet : $450
Vessels 30 feet in length and less than 70 feet : $550
Vessels over 70 feet in length and less than 80 feet : $575
Vessels over 80 feet in length : $650
Vessels over 90 feet in length : $700
New Construction Supervision ~ TBD, dependent upon scope of work
Vessel Repair Supervision ~  TBD,  dependent upon scope of work

Usually there is no charge for services within a 100 mile radius  ~ Travel adder is .42 per mile, is dependent upon point of origin and will be discussed while making the survey appointment.   If at all possible we do combine trips so as to reduce travel expenses and keep your costs to a minimum.

Additional Services - when performed at the time of initial survey :
* Shake down cruise / sea trials with survey - $100.00 - 1st   
   hour , $75 - 2nd hour
* Out of water hull and drive inspection in addition to in-water 
   survey - $100.00 or waived if the survey is performed 
   completely out of the water.
* Moisture Testing - FRP vessels must be out of water and dry a
   minimum of  1 full day prior to testing  - $125.00
* Ultrasonic hull thickness testing from outside the hull - out of 
   water -$300
* Ultrasonic hull thickness testing from inside the hull , vessel in
   water - $100 or performed as a courtesy during a
   pre-purchase or insurance survey
* Galvanic and stray current corrosion testing - $50.00
* Spectrographic Engine Oil Analysis with lab report = $42.50 per
   engine or $110 for twin engines and genset.

All survey reports are mailed, e-mailed, faxed or delivered within 72 hours of the survey completion.
